TIP 2

Created to be discovered—and collected.
I believe that beauty doesn’t always have to be grand to touch your heart.
Sometimes, it’s found in a small detail: a bird that catches your eye, light dancing on water, the striking colors of a flower, or a fleeting moment in nature that you wish you could hold onto just a little longer.
It is precisely these small wonders that inspire me as an artist. They change the way I see the world, fill me with a sense of marvel, and bring me joy—a feeling I want to share through my art.
That is the spirit from which *Little Wonders* were born.
A little wonder, all your own.
With *Little Wonders*, I aim to create something special for those who, like me, love to surround themselves with beauty. People with a distinct personal taste—those who prefer to discover something unique rather than choosing something that can be found everywhere.
That is why I create small, original artworks, each one painted by hand. Every piece has its own character, color palette, and story. No two are alike, and once a piece is painted, it will never be recreated.
These are not reproductions or scaled-down versions of existing works; they are original pieces in their own right—small in size, yet full of personality.
A *Little Wonder* doesn’t need to fill an entire wall to capture your attention. Instead, it serves as that special detail that adds a personal touch to your space—a small work of art that draws your gaze time and again, brings a smile to your face, or reminds you of something you hold dear.
Perhaps that is the greatest power of small things: they offer a source of delight, day after day.
The joy of discovery.
I love it when people discover something and immediately think: "This is me. I have to have this." With *Little Wonders*, I aim to enhance that feeling.
A few times a year, I present a new, small collection of about fifteen unique artworks. There is no permanent inventory and no overwhelming array of choices—just carefully curated collections, each with its own distinct character.
Sometimes, you might immediately spot something that resonates with you. At other times, you might be pleasantly surprised by a specific color, a shape, or a subtle detail you hadn’t expected.
And perhaps you’ll come across a piece that feels like it was made just for you.
That is what makes every release unique. You know that new *Little Wonders* are on the way, but you never quite know what you might discover—and that’s part of the joy.
Those on the Preview List get the first opportunity to view the new collection. This gives you time to explore which pieces speak to you and decide if there’s one you’d love to make your own.
Because every piece is one-of-a-kind. Once it’s sold, it’s gone. I never recreate a painting, nor do I produce a second version.
This isn’t about making art inaccessible; rather, it ensures that each piece retains its own unique meaning.
Treating yourself to something special
I believe we should treat ourselves to something beautiful more often—and not just on birthdays, during celebrations, or when making a major life decision.
Sometimes, it’s enough that something simply brings us joy.
A Little Wonder can be just that: a small gift to yourself, with no special occasion required.
Perhaps you’ve had a long-standing love for art. Perhaps you have a keen interest in interior design, nature, or unique objects. Or perhaps you’ve only just discovered my work and are drawn to the idea of owning an original piece for the very first time. You don’t have to be a seasoned art collector. Nor do you need to start by choosing a large-scale painting.
You can simply begin with something that resonates with you.
And as you discover how much joy it brings, something new may naturally emerge: the desire to take another look when the next collection is released.
Not because you need more "things," but because you enjoy surrounding yourself with special objects—pieces that carry a story, reflect who you are, and bring you happiness every time you see them.
Every piece has its own story.
For years, I have painted, driven by my fascination with the natural world. The movement of birds, the colors of flowers, the interplay of light, and the shapes found everywhere outdoors—these things continue to inspire me.
In my larger paintings, these impressions have room to unfold. With *Little Wonders*, I explore the power of the small.
I find great joy in creating something unique within a compact format—a piece where color, form, and character converge, and where you might discover even more the longer you look.
I create every artwork myself, paying close attention to the details that make it special. No assembly lines, no mass production—just my hands, my ideas, and my love for painting.
And while I am the one who creates them, my hope is that each piece ultimately finds its way to the person for whom it holds real meaning.
And although I create them all, my hope is that each piece ultimately finds its way to the very person for whom it holds meaning.
Perhaps your *Little Wonder* will serve as a memento of a special journey. Maybe it will fit perfectly into that one particular corner of your home. Or perhaps you won’t even be able to fully explain why it brings you such joy.
And that’s perfectly fine.
Sometimes, something is simply beautiful. And sometimes, you just know: this one is meant for me.
From a single *Little Wonder* to a personal collection
I love the idea that, for some, *Little Wonders* might grow into a small, personal collection.
A collection that doesn’t come together all at once, but evolves over the years—comprising pieces discovered at different times, chosen for different reasons, and which, together, tell a story about you.
Perhaps you’ll eventually have a favorite. Maybe you’ll find yourself looking forward to a specific theme in each new collection. Or perhaps you’ll simply enjoy the thrill of being surprised by what I’ve created this time around.
I want the act of collecting to remain a joy—for every new release to feel like a fresh moment of discovery, with the freedom to choose only those pieces that truly resonate with you.
And wouldn’t it be wonderful if, looking back at your collection, you saw not just the artworks themselves, but also the memories of the moments you first discovered them?
Because then, you aren’t just collecting art; you are collecting small moments of wonder.
A little piece of my world
With *Little Wonders*, I invite you to experience my work in a new way.
Perhaps you are discovering my art for the first time. Or perhaps you are already familiar with my larger paintings and would love to own a smaller, original piece of mine.
Whatever your background, I hope *Little Wonders* spark your curiosity. I hope you find joy in discovering new pieces, appreciate their personal touch, and perhaps even feel that spark of excitement that makes you want to add one to your own collection.
I create these works because I believe that art is not just something to look at—it’s something that can make your daily life more beautiful and personal.
And I love the thought that a small piece of art, which once came to life on my easel, will soon find a place of its own in your home.
Fifteen new "Little Wonders." Fifteen unique works of art. And the question remains: which one will you discover this time?
Perhaps your own little wonder is among them.
With love, Susan
