Harmony

Sometimes everything is just right—the feeling, the colors, the memory.

When Jannie saw Harmony on my website, she immediately knew this painting had something special. Not only because its color and atmosphere perfectly matched their interior (which was clear from the visualizations I created for them), but especially because the goldfinches hold a special meaning.

During their holidays on Terschelling, Jannie and her husband often encountered these cheerful little birds, and they have become symbols of peace, freedom, and enjoying nature together.

Now the goldfinches have found their own place, as a reminder of those beautiful moments. Harmony brings not only color to the room, but also warmth and comfort—a gentle tribute to the power of connection and holding on to what is precious.
