Karin and Mart's story: from rebuilding to a home full of character

Susan: After a devastating fire, Karin and Mart started rebuilding their beautiful detached house. Although the walls and furniture were slowly falling back into place, something important was missing: atmosphere in the house, the soul. It was an honor when they asked me to help create that personal touch that would make their house a real home again.

I started with digital visualizations to show how art could make a difference. By placing my paintings in their spaces, they could already imagine how the house would come to life. When I finally visited their home with a selection of paintings, everything fell into place.

The paintings immediately brought warmth and character to both the living room and the kitchen. Now these spaces radiate exactly the atmosphere they were looking for, a combination of style and individuality that reflects their personality.

For me, this is what art is all about: transforming a space into a place where you feel at home, where you are proud of and that inspires.
