A Moment by the Water's Edge

I had the pleasure of creating this original commissioned painting for  Ton en Sabine: A Moment by the Water's Edge.

The work was inspired by their love for the water and the nature surrounding their home. I translated that atmosphere into my own visual language, creating space for tranquility, movement, and that special moment where nature and the landscape converge.

Something remarkable happened while I was working on the painting: a kingfisher actually landed in their garden.

As a result, 'A Moment by the Water's Edge' has become more than just a piece of art for a specific space; it is a personal memento of a place, a moment, and a special encounter with nature.
