To determine the right size, I first created a visualization. That immediately provided clarity about the colors and the format.

A MEDLEY FOR ...

For this painting, Miranda and Hans asked me to create a tranquil reed and water scene, the beating heart of their recently redecorated apartment.

At their request, I incorporated a great spotted woodpecker, a lobster, a robin, and a great tit into the composition. While painting the reeds and reflections in the water, I evoked the vibrancy of these animals: a subtle interplay of color and movement.
