ISHTAR GATE

Recently I was asked to make a painting inspired by the Ishtar Gate. This is an ancient gate of Babylon. A reconstructed version of this can be found in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin. A very nice challenge and something completely different. As soon as the work is finished I will certainly place it on social media and in the newsletter.
