We've come to the end of a late summer, but hope to add a little colour to your day with this newsletter. Read all about our new calendar, de exhibition 'Viva Italia' and Mandy's blog.

They're back again! Yes! The new 2017 calendars are finished. They've become cheerful and colourful calendars with new paintings. On Susan's website you can read how to order them. TIP: Do you have a 2016 calendar and don't want to throw it away? Cut out the images and frame them. This way you can enjoy you purchase even longer.

Feeling lucky! From the 2th till the 29th of november you can admire Susan's work at the Holland Art Exhibition in London! Galery Artipico organises the lovely exhibition in colaboration with the Dutch embassy and brings along a couple of her paintings and her bronze statue. The exhibiton takes place in the 'Dutch Centre & Dutch Church' en can be visited for free.

Italy finds its way to Holland Visit the opening of the tasteful exhibition 'Viva Italia' on friday november 11th from 18:00 - 21:00 in Susan's galery. Eat some Italian bites, enjoy a nice glass of wine and you might win an original Susan Ruiter painting. Different artists have created work especially for this exhibition. You can admire the cheerful ceracmic art from Margarita van der Velden, lovely black and white photography from Gertjan van Geerenstein and unique, handmade jewelry from Mooiss. Don't worry Art is an investment. And to make sure you can enjoy your investment carefree for years to come, I only work with high quality materials. For example: All my bigger paintings have an aluminium frame. This prevents the frame will ever warp, which normally is a risk, especially when the painting is placed above a heat source. Even hanging the painting is a lot easier with this frame. Because you can adjust the height of the wire behind the painting, you never have to worry that your screw is too high or too low in the wall. So it prevents you from having multiple holes in your wall.

Do you recognize? - Blog Do you recognize? "The vacation is over, goodbye sun, sea and beach, hello cold and grey Holland. And after a day or two you have to get back to work, no more vacation feeling." I always disliked it when it was that time again, but this year it doesn't bother me. I did just return from vacation and I have started working again, but I still have that vacation feeling. How that's possible? The biggest part of the day I am busy with the preparations of the 'Viva Italia' exhibition. All day long I'm staring at pictures of cheerful ceramic art, beautiful women, gorgeous jewelry en cooking ladies. I'm in contact with a local Italian deli, about the different wines they will have us taste and the delicious 'antipasti' they will make for us. All of this while listening to Italian music, because offcourse I have to create the perfect playlist. It might also help that daydreaming is a talent of mine (a quality of creative people I've inherited from my mother), so in unguarded moments I wonder off into the mediterranean sun. A great feeling, I love to share with you. And so I hope to welcome you to the opening of our exhibition." - Mandy
